Re-Opening The Queen Elizabeth Pub

You may have already heard that the Queen Elizabeth public house in Elmley Castle has recently been taken on by a group of 23 local residents.

The aim is to make the Queens a resource for the local community, one that many people in the villages around Bredon Hill will want to use. We are, therefore, keen to get as many opinions as possible on the food, drink, entertainment and other facilities from local residents.

We are conducting a series of surveys to establish what we should be doing and will be repeating them over the next few years to check that we are actually delivering what people want.

The first survey is now available by clicking on the link ‘Have Your Say’ and we would be really grateful if you could spend a few minutes completing the questions. If you also have friends and family who could potentially use the Queens please send us their email address and we will include them on this and subsequent surveys.

We recognise that we cannot be all things to all people but we feel it is important to deliver what the majority of local people want. There may be some things we are unable to do but we will endeavour to become the local public house that everyone wants to go to. We will be giving everyone in the local community an incentive to use the Queens, especially in off-peak periods, but more of that later…

Thank you for your help, we will be keeping you up to date with news on the re-opening.
