Sponsor A Bell

The oldest bell in the tower dates back to 1420 and bears the Latin inscription:
ETERNIS ANNIS RESONET CAMPANA IOHANNIS

Another bell dates back to 1620 and bears the inscription:
GOD SAVE OVR KING
SVR JOHN SAVEDGE
WILLIAM MANSILL
JOHN SMITH CW
APRILL THE 7 ANNO 1620

While the names on the gravestones in the Churchyard are slowly lost by decades and centuries of weathering, the names on the bells are still crystal clear:

Thomas Powney , Edward Cvll, Richard Taylor, Matthe Bagley, W.G. Sinclair Snow, Lady Davies, Benjamin Wintle, EJ Rhodes, T. Blizzard, W. Crabb.
